2018 Cuba
14 days. 1200km/740miles
This was loosely based on the TransCuba: La Ruta Mala on bikepacking.com, but occasionally la ruta got a bit too mala and we opted for the main roads.
Blog: Santiago de Cuba to Havana
2022 Land’s End to John O’Groats
30 days, 2250km/1400miles
During the planning for this trip, Marcus was going to be running the Cicerone End to End Trail and Kirsty was going to be the cycling support crew. In the end, we both ended up cycling because of Marcus’s injury, but we stuck pretty closely to the original plan, cycling the roads closest to the End to End Trail. There was a diversion to the west coast of Scotland because we had a bit of extra time.
