They say that whichever direction your relationship is heading, a tandem will get you there quicker. To put this to the test we decided to spend our honeymoon back on the bike in 2012 and see how committed our wedding vows actually were.
We flew from Bristol to Split then took a ferry to Hvar, then back to the mainland, down to Dubrovnik, into Montengro to the fjord at Kotor, down to Bar where we caught a ferry across to Bari in Italy. From here we rode across to Salerno, round the Amalfi Coast, a night on Capri, up to Pompeii, a ride up Vesuvius and then into Naples where we took the train to Rome. The return flight was from Rome to Bristol.
